Nizamabad: The second spell of ZPTC/MPTC polls is being peacefully held in Nizamabad. Suresh Babu, the returning officer of the district, said that by 9.30 a.m., 18.45% votes were polled at 18 mandals in Nizamabad district.
A total of 866 polling stations were established in the district. For 18 ZPTCs, as many as 103 members have been contesting the polls. Similarly, for 295 MPTC seats, 1,266 members are in fray. A total of 3 lakh 68 thousand voters are about to franchise their votes in the district.
