Hyderabad: Ponnala Lakshmaiah, the Telangana PCC chief, and the CPI Party state convener Narayana on Friday urged the rebels, who filed their nominations for looming elections, to withdraw their nominations.

It is evident that few leaders who expected the Congress Party ticket to contest in the polls were denied tickets in view of the heavy competition. All such leaders have filed their nominations as rebel candidates.

Ponnala and Narayana addressed the media on Friday jointly and said that they will ensure that justice will be done to all those who could not be given tickets for the looming elections while urging dissenters to withdraw their nominations.

The duo urged the fight backers who filed nominations at the constituencies allocated for CPI to quit from fray bowing to the ethics of alliance between parties. Ponnala said once the party comes to power, they will surely be given nominated posts to justify their demand.
