Telangana: Many nominations rejected. On Thursday, the returning officials have carried out scrutiny of nominations filed by the candidates for Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.
Hyderabad: On Thursday, the returning officials have carried out scrutiny of nominations filed by the candidates for Lok Sabha and Assembly polls. In the process, the officials have rejected many nominations which were found barred to be considered.
As many as four nominations each were rejected from Adilabad, Secunderabad and Chevella Lok Sabha constituencies, while three nominations were rejected for Mahabubabad constituency.
For Karimnagar, Peddpalli, Medak, Zaheerabad, Nalgonda and Warangal constituencies, 2 nominations each were rejected by the returning officials. Similarly, one each at Bhongir, Nagarkurnool, mahabubnagar Lok Sabha constituencies was rejected. A total of 43 nominations were rejected for Assembly constituencies in Karimnagar, while 61 nominations were rejected in Ranga Reddy district.
