Telangana IT, Panchayat Raj Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao expressed his grief and offered his deep condolences to the parents and families of the students who were washed away by the Beas river in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. While talking to the media, KTR said all the measures were taken to send the dead bodies to their respective native towns.
He also held a meeting with the collector this morning over the same. A special control room was set up to handle the grievances. Till now, 5 dead bodies have been, said KTR.
The rescue team is putting in best efforts to retreive the bodies of the students, he added. He also said that the Telangana government will pay for the air tickets of the parents flying to Himachal. The parents have our full support to make the process hassle free," assured KTR. A special flight will bring back dead bodies, promised KTR.
