KCR: Madhusudanachary’s contribution in Telangana agitation invaluable

Hyderabad: KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana, on Tuesday said that the contribution of Madhusudanachary for Telangana agitation was invaluable. He congratulated the latter after he assumed the charges of speaker of Telangana state assembly. KCR addressed in this milieu and said that Madhusudanachary was one among the few Telangana agitators, who came forward even before the establishment of TRS Party. He said that what was dreamt by the people of Telangana was realised and said that as the floor leader, he would extend his entire support to all the MLAs.

It is evident that Madhusudanachary got unanimously elected as the first speaker of Telangana state assembly. Sirikonda Madhusudanachary turned the first speaker of Telangana state assembly on Tuesday. When his name was proposed by TRS Party on Monday, the same was supported by Congress, TDP, MIM, CPI and CPM parties. KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana, himself proposed Madhusudanachary’s name and signed on the nomination papers.

It was also supported by Geeta Reddy, Ramreddy Venkat Reddy, Redyna Naik of Congress party; Errabelli Dayakar Rao of TDP, Pasaha Khadri of MIM, T. Venkateshwarlu & P. Venkateshwarlu of YSR Congress Party, Ravindra Naik of CPI, Sunnam Rajaiah of CPM and Donti Madhava Reddy an independent MLA. They all have signed on the nomination papers. All those candidates including KCR who supported the candidature of Madhusudanachary have met the Assembly Secretary and participated in the nomination submission programme. The election of Madhusudanachary has become a mere formality. The unanimous selection of Madhusudanachary as the Speaker of Telangana state was formally by Jana Reddy, the pro-time speaker officially on Tuesday and immediately he took over the responsibilities.
