Nandigama (Krishna): The Congress election meeting suddenly became silent when the public address system brought the video of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Nandigama. The Congress workers, who were standing outside the venue rushed back to the makeshift tent to see how the TD chief's election speech was heard from their election meeting, that, too, in the presence of APCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy. This happened at Nandigama on Sunday where by-election is scheduled for September 13. The Congress had organised a meeting of women and farmers in support of party candidate Bodapati Babu Rao.

The women and farmers have spent more than three hours listening to party senior leaders like former minister Devineni Rajasekhar Nehru, former union minister Killi Kruparani, former MLA Malladi Vishnu and a host of other leaders.

It was at this point, APCC chief Raghuveera Reddy had asked the sound system operator to play the video clip. It took a few seconds for all to realise that Naidu's video clip was about the TD chief's election promise. Raghuveera Reddy asked the farmers and the women to listen carefully to Chandrababu Naidu who promised loan waiver. "He had promised total loan waiver for farmers and women during the elections.

Now, what is he saying? He had promised that he would put his first signature on the loan waiver promise but what did he do?" He asked the crowd that replied in negative. He asked the Congress workers to popularise the election promise speeches of Chandrababu Naidu on loan waiver and make people understand the betrayal politics of the TD chief.

Earlier, Devineni Rajasekhar Nehru said that Chandrababu Naidu was known for betraying people.
