50% of students fail in first year exams. With the data from (TEQIP), only about 63 per cent first-year students passed in all the subjects in Telangana, while in Andhra Pradesh it is too worse, only 37 per cent students managed to do so.

The education system in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remains unaltered, proves the statistics of Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) with a very less progress in the first year examinations of engineering students from AP and Telangana.

With the data from (TEQIP), only about 63 per cent first-year students passed in all the subjects in Telangana, while in Andhra Pradesh it is too worse, only 37 per cent students managed to do so.
According to data from the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the TEQIP also it is very less generation of revenue from the student projects of engineering colleges.
From the two states AP and Telangana, only about 13 engineering colleges were managed to select for the TEQIP funds from World Bank, which are used for the engineering colleges to strengthen the education system.
However, many researches and educational analysts found long since that the best education from schooling in the primary level can only make the difference rather than focusing from graduation level.
