19 students chosen in off-campus selections
IT major Tech Mahindra has recruited 19 BCA and B Sc final year students from four colleges in city—PB Siddhartha College, Andhra Loyola College, Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala and Nalanda Degree College—in off-campus selections.
Vijayawada: IT major Tech Mahindra has recruited 19 BCA and B Sc final year students from four colleges in city—PB Siddhartha College, Andhra Loyola College, Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala and Nalanda Degree College—in off-campus selections.
According to a press release from the principal of Siddhartha College, MVN Padma Rao, on Tuesday, the candidates were recruited after conducting an online test, assessment of technical excellence and interview. The off-campus selections were done through the Training and Placement Cell of Siddhartha College. The college placement officer, Kavuri Sridhar, said that the IT major had agreed to allow the selected candidates to pursue MS in BITS Pilani through distance education. This was conveyed by the Tech Mahindra representative, Sridhar Benegal, to the students, Sridhar added.
