CM told to shift administration. Former Rajya Sabha member Dr Yalamanchili Sivaji urged the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to shift the State administration to the new capital area.

Yalamanchili Sivaji Vijayawada: Former Rajya Sabha member Dr Yalamanchili Sivaji urged the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to shift the State administration to the new capital area. Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, Dr Sivaji found fault with the Chief Minister for running a government in exile for the past one year.

“The bifurcation was completed a year ago and the two States have come into existence. The Andhra Pradesh government too should have come to its own territory instead of remaining in Hyderabad, which is part of Telangana State,” he said.

He welcomed the Chief Minister inaugurating his camp office in Vijayawada and advised him to stay in Vijayawada without going back to Hyderabad. The former MP also wanted the Cabinet Ministers and the heads of departments to move out of Hyderabad and be available to the people of the State.

“There is no reason as to why the heads of departments like mines, endowments, stamps and registrations, animal husbandry, agriculture and others to stay away from their field of operation and their people,” Dr Sivaji said.

Without naming the cash-for-vote controversy, Dr Sivaji observed that the people of 13 districts were expecting their government to work for them and not fight other State government. He felt that AP government had wasted one precious year after bifurcation.
