Chandrababu may reshuffle AP Cabinet, key changes likely

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu may reshuffle his cabinet any time soon. Chandrababu’s upcoming cabinet is likely to spring many surprises. Some top leaders are likely to be reshuffled. According to reliable sources in the TDP, Chandrababu is reportedly disappointed with the way some ministers' performance in the first year.
Sources say that Deputy CM, who is handling Revenue portfolio, is likely to be one of those who will be affected by the reshuffle. His revenue portfolio will be taken away from him and would be handed a different portfolio.
It is learnt that Endowment Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao and Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa too may lose their current portfolios and alloted new ones.
There were reports that BJP MLA from Tadepalligudem, Manikyala Rao, criticized the AP CM during the cabinet meeting for not giving him due importance. He was reportedly sidelined by Chandrababu during the recent Godavari Pushkaralu. Speculation is rife that he will be removed from the cabinet and a new BJP leader is likely to be inducted in his place.
It's worth recalling that KE Krishna Murthy had opposed the state capital at Vijayawada and had even refused to join the AP Government's sub-committee for land acquisition.
