He continued to embarrass the TDP and its supremo Chandrababu Naidu with his comments on the cash-for-vote scam. The TDP MP raked up a fresh controversy by saying that everyone spend money in elections. "From sarpanch to the Prime Minister, everyone has to spend money in the elections. I have also spent money but cannot disclose how much, " JC openly declared.
He found no fault in the cash-for-vote scam involving Telangana TDP MLA Revanth Reddy. "Cash-for-vote scam is a crime as per the law. But in the present political situation, it should not be considered as a big mistake. Entire election system has to be changed, " he observed.
