According to sources, a resident of Chollangi village in Kakinada suburbs, Katta Naga Sowjanya, while playing in front yard of the house fell on the ground, where her mother kept house-hold utensils for cleaning.


The spatula out of those utensils, pierced into her neck three inches deep. Girl’s parents rushed her for treatment to KGGH with spatula intact.


The surgeons removed the piece of iron from her neck. According RMO of the hospital, Dr U Sudheer, the girl was shifted to ICU after surgery and she is fully conscious and recovering.
