Holding Naidu responsible for the stampede on the first day of Godavari Pushkaralu resulting in the loss of 29 lives of which women and children were more in number.


He stated that there were many ghats available in the surrounding areas and the Saraswathi ghat was especially all ocated for all the VIPs. However, the chief minister has taken the initiative in Pushkar Ghat which was not allocated for VIPs to gain publicity which caused heavy floating of public and in a spur of a minute the stampede occurred costing the lives of many people. He demanded that the chief minister take the responsibility for this. Jagan's mike was cut by the speaker as the allocated time was over.


After a while, he got a chance again, in which he mentioned and blamed certain things about the running of the assembly sessions. He stated that his mike would be cut every time by the speaker when he talks about the government. He expressed his deep dissatisfaction on the way the speaker behaves cutting the mike for their party people and also accused the speaker saying he is not a speaker for the governing party but the entire house.
