Citing an example of Karnataka Government going ahead with construction of projects across Krishna River and denying water to the two lower riparian States, Chandrababu said that the two Telugu-speaking States interests will be affected if the issues are not resolved amicably.


The Chief Minister went on to say that the AP Government repeatedly sought discussion to resolve the differences but received no response from the neighbouring government. Mr Naidu asserted that they were seeking the Centre's help for recurring from the losses incurred by Andhra Pradesh post bifurcation and not to remove the benefits that accrued to Telangana.
