Lightning strike claims 3 lives at Sattenapalli

Two women and one man were killed on Friday evening when lightning struck them at two different places in Sattenapalle mandal. According to local sources, two women farm labourers in Rentapalla village in the mandal were killed on the spot due to lightning, while returning home from fields.

In another incident a man grazing his cattle at Bhatluru village in the same mandal collapsed when lightning struck him. The victims were identified as Yekula Nagaratnam (50), Bolivalli Mariamma (45) and Povuri Venkateswarlu (65).
