BJP leader Purandeswari: AP won't be accorded special status

Speaking to the media in Kurnool on Sunday, Former Union Minister and BJP leader Daggubati Purandeswari stated that Centre won't accord special status for AP but would sanction a special package for the state. The Minister expressed confidence in Centre providing incentives for industries to be set up in AP.

The BJP Leader said that her efforts would continue to secure funds from the Centre once the state government submits proposals. Purandeswari also made an appeal to the women to utilize Prime Minister Narendra Modi's schemes including the insurance and welfare schemes.
