Chandrababu to remove corruption from Revenue, Municipal depts

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu addressing the District Collectors and Principal Secretaries conference in Vijayawada on Friday said that corruption was steep in Revenue and Municipal departments.

Directing the officials to take necessary measures to remove corruption from the departments, Chandrababu went on to accept that the sand mafia had gained prominence at certain places due to the ambiguity in the sand policy.

The Chief Minister praised the Irrigation Minister for the Pattiseema project expedition works and commended the Guntur, Krishna and West Godavari Collectors for speeding up land acquisition.
