KE Krishnamurthy, who holds Revenue portfolio, claimed that his revenue department is benefiting the public with its services.
On Friday, Chandrababu while addressing the District Collectors and Principal Secretaries conference in Vijayawada said that corruption was steep in Revenue and Municipal departments.
But the Deputy CM said that several changes were made in the Revenue department. "We have issued orders to provide family member certificates in 15 days. We are also conducting a special programme to solve the problems that have occurred in giving details of lands on the web," he said.
KE has been opposing the land acquisition policy for building capital and was not part of the panel on the Capital Regional Development Authority or any committee related to capital building.
