Gang that blackmailed women with nude pictures held in East Godavari

The Mandapeta police in East Godavari district on Sunday arrested 18 members of a gang for allegedly blackmailing women with their 'nude' pictures.
According to reports, the gang was arrested today for allegedly extorting money from women. The gang members used to fix spy cameras in bathrooms of function halls and shot videos. They later blackmailed women with the pictures and demanded money from them.

Recently, some of the members in the gang blackmailed a woman from Hyderabad with the photographs. The woman lodged a complaint with the police.

Following a tip off, all members of the gang were arrested, police said, adding money was seized from them.
