Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, YSRCP leader Perni Nani said that the Pattiseema project is only a showmanship but in reality there is hardly any benefit from the Pattiseema project.
Stating that Inter-linking of rivers through Pattiseema is a waste of public money, the YSRCP leader demanded to expedite Polavaram which will benefit the people of Rayalaseema and Krishna delta.
“The Pattiseema does not serve the intended purpose with faulty workmanship and it is not a permanent solution and lots of money and Gadavari water has gone down the drain into the sea,” he said.
Perni Nani further said that the benefits of the Polavaram project are permanent.
He also asked Chandrababu to put the Pattiseema on hold and Polvaram be taken up with all earnestness.
