AP recommends Ramoji Rao, Murali Mohan for Padma Vibhushan award

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu recently approved the list and chief secretary IYR Krishna Rao on Monday sent the list to the home ministry.
The list includes several surgeons Dr Nageswar Reddy Dr Soma Raju, Dr Chandrasekar Simhadri and Dr Gopala Krishna Gokhale.
Classical dancer Ananda Sankar, philosopher Chaganti Koteswara Rao, Veturi Sundara Ramamurthy , Vandemataram Srinivas, Venkatagiri weaver Ramanayya, Kuchipudi exponent Pasumarthi Rattaih Sarma, Vedic scholar Madduri Venkateswarayazulu have also been recommended for the Padma Vibhushan award. Chess player Harika is also there in the list.
The Ministry of Home Affairs will accept nominations and recommendations for 2015 Padma Awards till September 15. The awards are announced on Republic Day every year.
