KRU sends basketball team. A 12-member women’s basketball team of Krishna University (KRU) left for Chennai on Wednesday to participate in the South Zone Inter University Tournament to be held at SRM University from September 24 to 28.

A 12-member women’s basketball team of Krishna University (KRU) left for Chennai on Wednesday to participate in the South Zone Inter University Tournament to be held at SRM University from September 24 to 28.
The basketball team comprises M Rajeswari, Ch Jyothi, R Sri Krishnaveni, Ch Srikanya and A Anitha of DAR College, Nuzvid, G Niharika, K Ruby Amulya and K Bhanusri of Maris Stella College, T Sai Vineetha and E Kalyani of KBN College, U Jyothi of Montessori Mahila Kalasala and M Sri Hemavalli of Nalanda Degree College, Vijayawada.
N Sree Devi, physical director of Maris Stella College, is the team manager. Krishna University Sports Board Secretary N Srinivasa Rao said the women’s basketball team attended a six-day coaching camp at the indoor stadium of Maris Stella College before leaving for Chennai for the South Zone Inter University Tournament.
