As part of its expansion plan, Tata Docomo has announced new rural distributions covering 700 small towns on Tuesday. It has also come up with renewed affordable and value for money voice and data offers with longer validity to strengthen its customer base.

Speaking on the expansion, Sanjiva Jha, head of Mobility Business Unit of Tata Docomo AP and Telangana, said, “As part of our expansion plan, more than 300 rural (micro) distribution units have been set up.

Our target is to reach out to 1,000 towns. We have released a new version of talk time and broadband recharge offers. Tata Docomo is offering 1GB of data at a tariff of less than Rs 100 with excellent validity.

Tata Photon Max Wi-Fi Duo with an inbuilt power backup is an instant hit among our clientele, which is available at Rs 2,999 in AP.”Explaining details of the Docomo app, he said, “The app has evoked a tremendous response from subscribers.

Using the emergency loan of Rs 4 offer, prepaid subscribers can make a phone call though they do not have talk time. The availed loan amount will be deducted at the time of next recharge by the subscriber. The pro-customer schemes are our USP.”
