The YSRCP on Wednesday declared that YS Jagan's deeksha will be held as scheduled come what may.
Earlier in the day, the AP Government denied permission for Jagan's deeksha.
Addressing a press conference on this, YSRCP leader Botsa Satyanarayana said that the TDP Government has been resorting to unethical practices by denying permission for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's deeksha in Guntur.
He once again reiterated that YS Jagan would go ahead and the deeksha will take off in Guntur from September 26 even if the Centre fails to give any assurance.
The YSRCP leader further said that the TDP government will be held responsible for any untoward incident at the venue. "We appeal to the people to join the fight in achieving the special status which will pave the way. YS Jagan is working for the interests and aspirations of the people of the State, but the TDP Government is looking at it in a political angle and is trying to obstruct the fast," he said.
