Electrical trade expo from today

A three-day exhibition focused on electrical equipment, ‘Delight India Expo-2015’, will be opened to the people at IV Palace from Friday. Addressing a press conference, Delight India Expo president P S Avadani said that expo would help create awareness among consumers and educate them about products with improved technologies.

“Owing to the picking up of the growth momentum during the last decade, power had become central to industrial development as well as improving the quality of life,” said. Dealers, architects, consultants, builders and electrical engineers, apart from direct home consumers would participate in the expo. "The exhibition will also help the dealers to identify the requirements of market through feedback of the visitors’, he added.

Several new products, including an unbreakable energy-saver bulb that is also waterproof and a shock-resistant PVC switch box suggested as replacement for the traditional wooden boxes would display on the expo. “As many as 50 stalls displaying power equipment, tools, domestic appliances and lighting systems will be kept in the three day expo,” he concluded.
