KBN to host mathematics talent search. The National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM) and the Department of Mathematics of Kakarparti Bhavanarayana (KBN) College will organize a Mathematics Training and Talent Search (MT&TS), 2015, program at its campus, One Town here from December 14 to 19.

College secretary and correspondent SVSM Rajith Kumar on Friday said that the objective of the programme is to expose young students to the excitement of problem-solving, to promote independent mathematical thinking and to prepare them for higher aspects of mathematics.
The faculty will be active mathematicians with a commitment to teaching and from various leading institutions and they will give instructions to stimulate the participants to think and discover mathematical results. Interested students pursuing graduation can participate in the program through filing their details in the on-line application from the websites www.mtts.org.in or www.kbncollege.ac.in on or before October 30, he said.
