Moving towards file free offices

The Minister for of Social Welfare and Tribal Development Ravella Kishore Babu inaugurated his camp office at the Rain Tree Park Villas near Acharya Nagarjuna University on Saturday. Speaking after the inauguration the minister said that the Telugu Desam Government is poised for paperless governance and the camp offices would be an e-office having digital key for affixing signatures. “No one can tamper the files and I will have access to digital key,” he said.

As part of the project data has been computerised to facilitate paperless files. The minister said that since the chief minister himself had shifted to Vijayawada, all his cabinet colleagues have decided to follow suit by shifting camp offices. “The idea is to move the administration closer to the people. Very soon key ministers will be moving to 22 villas at the Rain Tree Park Villas premises,” he said.

The ministers include Paritala Sunitha, Ganta Sreenivasa Rao and Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and others, who would open their camp offices at the secluded premises closer to the National High Way. Kishore Babu revealed that two principal secretaries of the department and a Residential Society office will also occupy the villas.

The Rain Tree Park Apartments has 960 flats facing the Nagarjuna University and 400 owners are also residing in their flats while another 560 flats are being let out to the State Government on a two-year lease basis to accommodate the bureaucrats. The secretariat employees will be moving to Amaravati region before the commencement of the new academic year.

The minister that Amaravati will be the most happening place from early 2016 as things will be moving fast once the foundation stone is laid for the capital in October. “All ministers need to move from Hyderabad to monitor the progress of the core capital development,” he said.

He praised Naidu as the best Chief Minister AP had has so far. “The government itself is moving towards paperless governance and the process has been initiated in his ministry,” he added. He revealed that he has cleared 10 E- files on Saturday and set the ball rolling for greater changes in the government and in his ministry.
