The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-C30 (PSLV C-30) countdown has begun at Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota High Altitude Range (SHAR) in Nellore.

The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-C30 (PSLV C-30) countdown continues at Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota High Altitude Range (SHAR) in Nellore. The 50 hour countdown began on Saturday at 10 AM.


With a fully assembled space observatory satellite designed by India, Astrosat, the PSLV-C30 will also carry two satellites designed by Indonesia and Canada apart from four satellites of USA with the launch all set to take place on September 28 at 10 AM.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will be launching he Astrosat to a 650 km near equatorial orbit around the Earth to carry out multi-wavelength observations including optical radiation, X-rays, ultraviolet and gamma rays.
