Kuchipudi dance forms & ballets showcased. An impressive dance performance was organised by Sri Kiranmayi kala Nilayam, Hyderabad at Tummalapalli Vari Kshetrayya Kala Kshetram, Vijayawada.

An impressive dance performance was organised by Sri Kiranmayi kala Nilayam, Hyderabad at Tummalapalli Vari Kshetrayya Kala Kshetram, Vijayawada. Kiranmayi and her team of dancers showcased classical Kuchipudi dance forms which commenced with “Saraswathi Stuti” composed in Abheri Ragam and followed by Gurustavam in Ragamalika Raga, Shamukaha Stuti in Shanmukha priya raga and Swarapallavi in Amrutavarshini ragam.

The team also presented an excellent ballet ‘Mahandhra Mahatyam” depicting the traditions and cultures of the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. The spectators appreciated the ballet as it also mentioned the pictures and stories of legends, artistes, freedom fighters and historian. The script and music was commendable.

Kiranmayi, Kuppa Sai Vallinikhita, Sumalatha, Tejaswini, Surabhi Swathi, Pranavi, and Saranya presented these items with grace. The artistes’ expressions while dancing received appreciation. The chief guests of the day included Collector Babu,A and Municipal commissioner G Veerapandian. Vedantam Radhesyam and Vedantam Ramalinga Sastry, Surya Desaraju were also present. Ghatasala Pavan Kumar conducted the programme.
