Forest officials conducted an intensive search in the Kalyani Dam forest area in Chittoor district on Saturday. Two people have been arrested and red sandalwood logs were seized from them.
The arrested were handed over to the police. The forest department officials informed that the red sandalwood that was seized from them is worth Rs one and a half crore.
