APSRTC to run 400 special buses for Dasara
APSRTC to run 400 special buses for Dasara. The Vijayawada Zone of APSRTC will run about 400 special bus services from several parts of Krishna, Guntur, West Godavari and Prakasam districts to meet the pilgrim rush during the 10-day festival of Dasara which will begin on October 13.

Talking about the initiative, RTC regional manager, P Rama Rao said “We will run about 150 special buses from Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore and more than 250 buses from West Godavari, Guntur and Prakasam districts from October 13 to 25.
The special services include Volvo, Indra, Garuda AC and non-AC buses to cater to the needs of all sections of people. Advance reservation facility is available for the special services at all the bus stations.’’
Adding further, he said “The RTC will operate additional buses from Rajahmundry, Machilipatnam, Avanigadda, Gudivada, Nuzvid, Tiruvuru, Jaggaiahpet and other places from October 19 to 21. Special buses will also be arranged as per the demand. Passenger amenities at Pandit Nehru Bus Station (PNBS) will be improved to meet the pilgrim rush.’’
