This time at the Indrakeeladri, one can witness many stops by the Addaala mandapam not only to take a look at the deity placed in the swing but also to seek nature based medical aid at the Ayurvedic medical center that is set up right adjacent to it. A free ayurvedic camp has been set up by Sri Bharadwaja Foundation under the name Sri Gayatri Ayurvedic Multi specialty Center.

Apart from the nearly 40 medical aid centers that were arranged for the respite of devotees from canal road to the exit near Arjun Street, there is only one ayurvedic medical center which was set up for the first time in the history of Devi navarathri utsavalu abode Indrakeeladri.

The stall is offering home tips and readymade medicine for problems like indigestion, nausea, headache, cough, cold, knee pains and other external applications. Devotees who stop by the center are making sure to discuss their problems with the Ayurvedic specialists.

They are suggesting appropriate care and cure for their problems besides giving away a few medicines. Medicines worth Rs 2 lakh were brought for free distribution to the devotees during the event. Speaking to The Hans India, specialists Dr S Subramanyam and Dr N Nani Kumar said, ‘’This is the first time we have come out with free service for the public at Kanakadurga temple.

Medicines were sponsored by Sri Baharadwaja Foundation and we are giving away tablets and other syrups for the devotees for varied disorders. The response was more than what we expected. Most people are coming forward to utilize the ayurvedic medicine’’.

Foundation president SVS Seethrama Sarma said that they have so far given away medicines to about 650 people who stopped by their center. There are medicines for Body aches, Knee and joint pains, appetite tonics, chewing tablets for gastroenteritis among other general medicine.
