Raise a Hand for Hygiene

Global Handwashing Day was observed here on Thursday with the theme `Raise a Hand for Hygiene’. A special programme was held at the MPDO office to mark the occasion. Students were made aware of the importance of handwash to keep diseases at bay.

Rural Water Supply DE Manohar said students should always keep their hands clean. They should develop the healthy habit of washing their hands before having meals, he said. A poster on `Clean Hands Save Lives’ was also released on the occasion. MPDO Yadaiah, RWS and Panchayat Raj engineers were also present.
