Chinna Tirupati fete

Aasveeyuja Masa Thirukalyana Mahotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamyvari Devasthanam, , began here on Friday on a grand note. The annual fete will go on till October 30. The presiding deity rides different Vahanams during the festival.

Kalyanam and Rathotsavam, the important events of the festival, will be held on October 27 and 28.Temple executive officer V Trinadha Rao said elaborate arrangements were made to meet the pilgrim rush during the eight-day fete. The Devasthanam cancelled all Arjita Sevas during the festival days to ensure hassle-free darshan for devotees, the EO said.
