AP Assembly winter session to be held in Hyderabad

The Winter Session of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly is scheduled to be held in Hyderabad and not in AP Capital, Amaravati as earlier planned.
The Winter Session of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly is scheduled to be held in Hyderabad and not in AP Capital, Amaravati as earlier planned. Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao had declared that the Assembly sessions would be held in temporary Assembly premises in AP Capital region for which he instructed officials to build a temporary building.
However, Chandrababu Naidu on Monday convened a meeting with the Speaker to discuss the issue. With very less time for the winter session to begin, the Chief Minister said it was unlikely to hold the Assembly session in Amaravati. Hence, this time the winter session will be held in Hyderabad.
