Medical and health employees, Anganwadi and ASHA workers took out an awareness rally at Pothunuru village in Denduluru mandal on Friday to promote the use of iodised salt.
They created an awareness among villagers about various health disorders caused by iodine deficiency, which can be overcome with the use of iodised salt.
The awareness programme was conducted under the aegis of Multipurpose Health Extension Officer (MPHEO) Venkateswara Rao.
