A day for veggies

Vegetable day was celebrated at Dafne Asiatic School in Rajahmundry on Tuesday to promote healthy eating habits among the children. Kids of the school displayed vegetables to explain the nutritious values in them. Children displayed postures by wearing vegetables. This vegetable show created awareness on the merits of vegetables.

Speaking on the occasion, principal of the school, T Sri Vidya mentioned that good health could be maintained by taking vegetarian food. She added that the ‘Vegetable day’ has been celebrated to create awareness among the children that every vegetable has its unique quality and nutritious values.
