Role and importance of Income Tax

Principal Commissioner of Income Tax department Ajay Kumar and additional Commissioner B Srinivas have walked into St.Mathew’s Public School (NSM) to educate the school children about Income Tax, its importance, policies and development of the country through it.

The session helped the students to gain primary information about the issue, on Thursday. In their hour long awareness programme, speech, Ajay Kumar has thrown light over the role of tax payment by the citizens and their importance in maintaining the society.

They discussed about the tax payment, reasons, causes and purposes of it to the children. A power point presentation was also made for their visual analysis, followed by an interactive session. Principal of the School, faculty were present during the programme.
