Students exhibit talent at Cultural Festival 2015
The second day of the Kaladarshini Cultural festival 2015 witnessed school students competing for prizes in singing, instrument playing and folk group dance categories.
The second day of the Kaladarshini Cultural festival 2015 witnessed school students competing for prizes in singing, instrument playing and folk group dance categories. Hundreds of students took part in the events from various schools in the city. Competitions were held for students under different age groups.
Speaking about the programme, director of the Fine Arts School Fr D Ravi Sekhar said that they have invited judges from Hyderabad and other nearby districts in order to ensure there is fair judgment for the participating schools. There are lot of young children who are interested in Singing and instrument playing.
It is very heartening to see them perform on challenging notes of music, he added. There would be competitions in solo dance and a few group dances on Friday. Soon after the programmes, the valedictory of the cultural bonanza concludes with prize distribution.
