The 48th National Library Week will be celebrated at the public library in Nandyal (Kurnool) from November 14 to 20.
The 48th National Library Week will be celebrated at the public library in Nandyal (Kurnool) from November 14 to 20. Librarian Basheer Ahmed told the newsmen here that several programmes will be organised during the week to promote the book reading habit among the young generation. Municipal Chairperson D Sulochana will inaugurate the Library Week and Children’s Day celebrations on Saturday.
A book exhibition will be organised at the library to mark the occasion. Elocution and essay writing competitions for students will be held on November 16 and 17. A literary meet will be conducted on November 18. Women’s Day will be observed on November 19. The valedictory of the Library Week will be held on November 20, he said.
