The students of MK Gandhi School have turned chefs and have tried their hands at various kinds of cuisines that they prepared for a ‘food carnival’ that was organized by their school administration on the occasion of Children’s Day.

The students of MK Gandhi School have turned chefs and have tried their hands at various kinds of cuisines that they prepared for a ‘food carnival’ that was organized by their school administration on the occasion of Children’s Day. They have also organized an exhibition and made sure they tasted the delicacies that were put up on the display, here on Friday.

The school conducted a series of programmes to engage their children in fun and frolic on the occasion of childrens’ day that will be celebrated on November 14th. The food carnival was held for students to display their traditional home cooked food besides the north Indian snack and delicacies. Parents and teachers helped the children prepare the items and put up the show.

Correspondent of the School G Ravi Prasad speaking on the occasion said that today’s younger ones are more addicted to junk food that is rich in fat and causes long term problems at a tender age. He suggested children to prefer homemade food of various forms and expressed confidence that activities like this will bring out their streaks.
