Ibrahimpatnam Circle Inspector D Chawan speaking on the occasion appreciated the efforts of Child Line for taking care of orphans, missing and run away children at their shelters. He asked them to approach the children with care and affection that will build confidence and trust among them.

Educating the orphan children about their rights is a vital element in their upbringing. Every orphanage that deals with small and teenage children should ensure that they are provided with good environmental conditions to live-in, he said.

He further spoke on how girl children should be protected from the mental and physical abuse besides giving them right counseling to deal with teenage streaks. He made a mention about the cooperation from the department of Police in handing over the children to CWC, said Chawan.

Child Line city coordinator A Ramesh, director of Annamma Special School D Vasantha Kumar, project officers P Rama, Y Johnson, representatives from SKCV Children Trust, World Vision coordinator Dattu and others were present during the programme.
