In the cabinet that was held on Monday, the AP government took some crucial decisions including the GO on bauxite mining. Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas addressing the media said that the State government has decided to keep the GO on bauxite mining in suspension and that further action would be taken after public opinion with all stakeholders including Tribals is taken into consideration on mining.
Kamineni Srinivas also said that the Cabinet has decided to set up a maritime board for development of ports and waive loans of 25,567 handloom weavers.
