Several places have been affected and inundated with heavy rainfall in Nellore, Chittoor, Prakasham and Kadapa districts.

Due to the heavy rainfall, Swarnamukhi River has been over flowing and 15 people have reportedly been swept away under its impact at Chittamuru village premises in Nellore district.

Many roads have been damaged in other places affecting the transport. AP Municipal Administration Minister Narayana is reviewing the rain affected areas and supervising the situation. The Minister informed that the state government is taking steps and implementing the rescue operations for the affected areas.
