Educationists stress on adolescent hygiene
Vasavya Mahila Mandali (ICDS) in association with the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) organised an Adolescent Education programme for the high schools students at Ajith Singh Nagar’s MK Baig High School, Vivekananda Secondary School, and BV Subbareddy High School in Kandrika on Tuesday.

Girls were educated about the importance of personal hygiene and nutritious food. They were asked to learn about the infatuations that might lead them towards persuasions owing to hormonal changes during puberty. In addition, a class on psychological and mental strength among teenage students was also held.
Health Educator of VMM, Revathi ensured that the students get a fair idea on topics like ‘good touch’, ‘bad touch’, personal space and other elements of the body with the help of illustrated charts shown at the session. Anganwadi teachers, ICDS project leaders and faculty of the respective schools were present during the programme.
