Siddhartha Academy president N Venkateswarlu and Prof Marketing & Strategy IBS Hyderabad Dr Ratnaja Gogula  shre few  words national seminar on “Emerging Trends in Marketing “ at VR Siddharatha Engineering College in the cityThe online commerce sites are going to witness a fourfold growth by the same period”, said Professor of Marketing and Strategy at Indian School of Business, Hyderabad Ratnaja Gogula. She addressed the students and scholars of Business Administration during a national seminar on ‘Emerging Trends in Marketing’ organised by MBA wing of the VR Siddhartha Engineering College on Friday.

On the occasion, Ratnaja elaborated on how the aspects of consumerism and evolving needs are enhancing the opportunities in marketing sector strategically. She spoke on Societal disruptions, Technological disruptions, Emergence of new age Technology Entrepreneurs and gave out examples to each of the category that has influenced the consumer facility with a different approach.

She pointed out about the growth of middle class consumers, fast rising disposable income, rise in per capita income and increase in the number of working women. She also spoke about the changing aspirations towards health, beauty and fashion, media explosion and rising global awareness, among many more during her lecture.

Global Accounts Manager at DHL Express Private Limited K Srinivasa Rao spoke about the ‘Logistics in Marketing’ while COO of Radha Group, Toyota S Ram Kumar spoke on ‘Core area of Operations and Strategies’ during the technical sessions. Along with the scholars and students, were delegates from Tamilnadu, Jharkand, Bangladesh and other neighboring places during the seminar.

Siddhartha Academy president N Venakteswarlu, Vice president of Siddhartha Academy and convener of VRSEC M Rajaiah, another vice president Ch Nageswara Rao, faculty of the Business Administration department and others were present for the inauguration of the seminar.
