Luminate 2015 a grand success
The department of Commerce of Maris Stella College in association with ‘Commerce and Management Club’ has organized ‘Luminate 2015’, an annual event to encourage students to participate in academic and curricular activities.
The department of Commerce of Maris Stella College in association with ‘Commerce and Management Club’ has organized ‘Luminate 2015’, an annual event to encourage students to participate in academic and curricular activities. Management Consultant MC Das inaugurated the programme here on Friday. He opined that there is no development without commerce and trade, in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, M C Das said that younger generation are equipped with latest thoughts and technology that is a tool to create wonders. With right work and pre-production of ideas, students of Commerce background can excel in this field. Management should also make sure that they teach moral values and humanity to students, he added.
As a part of Luminate programme, Quiz, Product launch, Group Discussion were organized for the groups of students representing various colleges. Later, the students took part in cultural programmes and enthralled the gathering. Dance, Music and festivities marked the conclusion of the programme. Principal of the College Sr C Rekha, faculty and others were present during the programme.
