Anantapur: Communist Party of India (Marxist) State executive member Venkateswara Rao condemned the lathi-charge on protesting Anganwadi workers on November 27.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, he said the demands of Anganwadi workers were genuine and justified. He criticised that false cases were framed against them just for demanding the implementation of hiked wages.
Venkateswara Rao demanded that the government should not commence the construction of Solar Plant unless the compensation was disbursed to the farmers.
