AP to witness heavy rainfall in the coming days
Due to the influence of low pressure formed at the troughs near South Andaman and South West Bay of Bengal off the coast of Sri Lanka, coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh and many areas including Nellore, Chittoor districts witnessed rainfall on Sunday.

As the low pressure areas associated with the surface trough is also moving in the same area, the authorities are assessing the possibility of further strengthening in the southern Andaman. Due to which heavy rain is expected in the coastal districts, the officials informed who added that the intensity of rains is expected to gradually increase in the next one or two days.
