Several villages in Balayapalli, Gudur, Jaladanki, Kavali and Kondapuram mandals have submerged with floods in the low-lying colonies due to incessant rains since the early hours and the Mansoor Nagar and Khuddus Nagar residents are on the edge following the flood waters entering their colonies again.

With the roads, bridges overflowing with floods, connectivity to several villages has been cut off. Kaivalya, Kalangi and Penna Swarnamukhi rivers, streams are over flowing at several places resulting in 12 villages in Kavali mandal and 20 villages in Gudur mandal getting completely submerged.
